Bluebonnets!

I don't know how this tradition started in Texas but it appears that all Texas need to take pictures of their kids in the bluebonnets every spring.  I've been wanting to do this for a while and decided that for Knox's 6 month pictures we would do a family photo session in the bluebonnets.  Brady wasn't really interested in smiling at first but luckily his mood improved and we got a few good pictures at the end of the session (that usually happens when water or sticks are involved!).

Happy Birthday Max!

To celebrate cousin Max's actual birthday we joined Rachael and the boys on a trip to the Fort Worth Zoo.  Nothing bad can happen with 3 kids and 5 kids 4 and under, right??

Easter Fun with Friends

We got invited out to an Easter Egg hunt and party that our friends neighborhood association puts on which includes a mini-train ride, bounce house and petting zoo.  The egg hunt was kind of a bust but the rest of it was great fun!  Brady loved getting in with the animals, bouncing in the bounce house and riding the little train.  Owen preferred to stick closer to daddy on almost everything, except the "choo-choo".  They had a great time and hopefully we are invited back next year!

Playing Catch-Up!

Easter was a big success for the big boys....they got to participate in a few egg hunts and Brady really got the hang of it!  At the family egg hunt with his cousins he sped off through the crowd and kept picking up eggs until Rodney had to physically pick him up to make him save some for the others.  Owen however was content to pick up one egg, open it up and eat all the contents before moving on.  Such different little personalities.
