Turning Two!

My how the time flies.....Brady and Owen turned 2 on December 17th!!  We celebrated with a little party for family (and almost family) at the house.  The boys were a little under the weather so we had to push back the party by a day to help everyone feel a little better.  We had lots of food, cake and great weather which helped all the kids break in the new playset.  It was a great day for everyone.  The boys were so tired that they went to bed at 6:00 that night!!

Getting into the holiday spirit

December is traditionally a very busy month for most people but this year we added a newborn, 2 little boys turning 2 and Christmas to go along with it all!  We've had quite a month so far....

Aunt Terri and Uncle Mike sent Knox and his big brothers some gifts, including ornaments for the tree!

Brady and Owen helped Grammy bake some cookies

The boys got a new playset for their birthday!  Daddy picked them up a little early from school one day so they could get out and play on it.  We are so very grateful for the weather right now so they can still enjoy it!

Brady and Owen participated in their first holiday concert at school!  They recently moved up into the Early Preschool classroom with kids that are 2 - 2 1/2.  Brady held the jingle bells and even rang them a little bit while Owen preferred to sit in Ms. Em's lap :)  They were so very cute!

Knox just tried to get as much sleep and milk as he could while being showed with love from his brothers.  They come home every day and run to see him.  It's so wonderful to see them caring for Knox.

One Month Old!

My how the time flies....Knox is already a month old (well, a month and 2 days...)!  He's now almost 9 lbs which means he has put on over 2 pounds since he was born.  He's a good eater, great sleeper and really mellow.  He is getting lots of love and hugs from his brothers who seem to be adjusting to their new brother.

Welcome Knox James!!

We are so overjoyed to welcome the newest Stoneman to the world!

Knox James was born at 7:42 am on Friday, November 2nd.  He weighed in a 6 lbs 12 ozs and was 20 inches long.

He is such a mellow little man and such a sweet snuggler.  He has completed our little family and we cannot wait for everyone to meet him.

Brady and Owen love their new little brother and are always asking for "Baby" or "Baby Knock".  They do such a great job at giving him tons of hugs, covering him up with his blanket and finding his paci (even when it isn't missing).  They are very concerned when he starts to cry and curious when mama is nursing him.  We can't wait to see them all grow up together!

Enjoy some photos of our new little man :)

Halloween Fun!

The boys had some fun activities for Halloween this year.  We did not attempt trick or treating around the neighborhood because I was not sure my uber-pregnant self would be up to walking around the neighborhood and wrangling to kids in the process.

They went dressed as janitors (according to me) or chimney sweeps (if you ask Rodney).  They are obsessed with brooms so anything that could use that toy would be a great costume.

Our first outing was to a church Halloween festival.  They had trunk or treating so the boys got their first "trick or treat" experience, carnival games and food.  They had a really good time.  Thanks to the Snyders for inviting us!  We didn't bring our brooms quite yet as they could just be used to injure all the people around us :)

Brady got the hang of the candy thing really quick and wanted to fill up all the other kids buckets!

There was also a little Halloween party at school.  Brady stayed home sick that day but he was feeling a little better after his nap so we went up to party with Owen and the class.  Owen was so proud that morning when he got to bring in his broom to school and show the class.

Instead of trick or treating we sat on the front porch before dinner and "swept" the sidewalk.  The boys love getting the mail and watching all the cars drive by so when the weather has been nice it's a fun activity for the family (they have recently discovered the doorbell so getting the mail now is a little louder than it used to be).

Brushing Our Teeth!

At our house the bedtime routine is split between both of us...I get everyone undressed for the bath and redressed once they are clean, Rodney does bathtime, teeth brushing and general children corraling!  We finally started getting serious about brushing our teeth once we settled into the new house and the boys LOVE IT!  Every time we go into the bathroom they point to the sink and say "teeth".

Here's to good oral hygenie!
